After what has been arguably the two and a half longest weeks of my life, I'm home. Details on the past weeks and months will follow in due time, but not tonight. Not having gotten to bed before 4 AM during that timespan has left me just a little tired and diffuse. I have but two thoughts to share for this evening

First of all, I'm glad that you're finally home. I hope that you will get some rest while you're there-- no seeing you online at 4 am for a while, ok? Unless you've slept all day, or something. Heh
And again, that skyline picture really is beautiful. You said it first, but there really is something about being so close to home, seeing home--and to a lesser extent, any city--in that way. . . with ALL of it in front of you, right before you really enter it and can see only individual buildings that's just. . .I'm nowhere near articulate enough to describe that but it's moving and it's good.

Well, now everything is actually done; let's see if I can actually rest a bit (I say as I type at 2:03 AM).
Thanks; I really do like my skyline a lot; it's still no Manhattan, but it's a good one to come home to.
