I'm sitting in my quiet condo in my peaceful cul-de-sac in my average town in my conservative state in my hypocritical country just soaking it all in. Friends have made and then broken plans with me today(which is becoming a trend) and across the country a good friend is having the same dilemma so we have decided to hell with all the people in our day to day lives and for one afternoon we are going go to a movie together even while we are separated by several thousand miles. I will buy my popcorn, snuggle into my seat to find maximal comfiness, silently scowl at the teenage punks trying to impress each other while text messaging everyone they know, and then be peacefully lost in the magic of hollywood for two hours after which my friend and I will have an amazing conversation about the movie and life and ups and downs and then go to bed knowing that no matter what there is nothing more amazing than simply being in moment with yourself and the people that truly deserve you and appreciate your friendship ( ... )

I always get a kick of learning new phrases in Thai.. The other night we were all sitting around and the guys were trying to get me to say phrases without me knowing them, so i did and they would tell me what they were. It always makes them laugh which is all that counts. :)
