I guess I'm at it again... The story goes like this... I have a goal of chopping down the content on my music page to my favourite 10 songs that are recorded with the best quality possible. The rest of the songs I plan on removing from the net ( Read more... )

Damn, that was great, bro... I really like it. And, of the top of my head, I would agree that it's quite possibly your best... I loved the lyrics, the melody, and your playing and singing and production were fantastic, too.

Wow what a glowing review! I have to admit that is the best review I've ever had. If I ever get any money you'll have a instant job as my press agent if you want it. Well, that kind of sounds like a crappy job... but it does involve writing.

I'm working at trying to finish the song cull by the end of the year, then changing my layout and keeping ten songs to relaunch my page by 2004.

I think your support and criticism has been a very positive influence on my life recently. I have never been so productive (see, so you can stop complaining about how "useless" you are! Everyone feels useless at sometime or another in a capitalistic society that puts money as a reward for accomplishments! So stop worrying I feel the same way too, I just realize that it's not really my fault). (Wow that was the longest sentences in parenthesis I have ever done.Anyway... got to focus... so what do you think should be my course of action for 2004? How can I go about getting my music out to people who actually want to hear it, and dare I say, actually make ( ... )

Hmm... I wonder if you could play at some cafés... Or maybe even in subway stations or something... I guess the subway station thing might be slightly awkward, but... If you could come up with the money, perhaps you could hire a producer or session players to record some of your songs in a studio with bass and drums... Even if you just did a few songs, you could have some CDs pressed and sell them at subsequent performances and continue building things from there, meanwhile sending them to local radio stations and such... You could probably start by focusing on college radio and work your way up from there.... Just some thoughts... And I'm glad you appreciate the feedback... Always nice to know somebody finds me helpful somehow...

I need to buy a microphone for my computer so I can record vocals directly onto my computer and try to set them to music using loops and such with Acid Pro 4.0...
