So I logged on to CBS.com to vote to give Rupert the bonus million dollars that they were offering. After you vote for the survivor that you think should get the million it takes you to another poll that asks you who is the hottest survivor of all time, for both men and women

Maybe they sought the Survivors' permission to include them in the contest? Perhaps Crissy opted not to participate in such a silly thing? I hope it's something like that. I shudder to think they'd take it upon themselves to deem half of their participants too ugly to be ranked...

Bah I made a mistake... it was Cristy not Crissy but either way neither name appeared on the "hot" list, because I was looking for both! Anyway... she was in Survivor: Amazon.

Rupert's is going to win for sure!!! We'll see tonight!

I too was kinda pissed about Christy's name not being listed as a choice in the hot women poll. I thought she was adorable. I noticed her hairy pits from the very first episode of that season and it made me smile. Anyhow, with the choices that were available, I voted for Alicia because I envy her muscular bod.

Hey nice to see you back here! It is a shame that you don't post a little more often. I missed reading your thoughts.

Anyway, I just decided not to vote in the "hot" question at all. I hope that my vote for Rupert will still be counted even though I was non-compliant with those questions.

Christy was definitely cool. Both Sonia & I thought she was sexy too. At least a lot better than those two plastic titted "evil sisters" that got further than her, but the producers of the show kept selling them as being so "hot" for the whole season... it was nauseating.

Survivor is the only reality show we watch. I find the rest to be garbage, except for the excellent "Bands on the Run" from VH-1 three years ago, but there was only one ever season of that and it was special due to a very cool band called flickerstickPart of the appeal of survivor is to actually see people on TV unshaven, without make-up, stupid hair-dos and all that usual crap that people think make them look better. We actually get to see how human beings really look like. Which is a huge rarity on TV. I always hate it when they give them rewards that allow them to get "cleaned up" or inevitable after they get voted off and they go on to the jury and they go back to looking like made-up plastic people once again. I always think how much better they all looked before

lol...well we all have our guilty pleasures. I read Cosmo religiously, even though it's froufy crap.

I don't miss TV at all though. I only watch Simpsons--when I remember to--because it's such a great show. We buy the DVDs of 24 and watch it straight through without commercials. That's about it for TV in our house.

I'm always amazed at the statistics showing that people watch an average of something like 3 hours of TV a day. Who the hell has that much time?!?!? If I had that much time, I could think of so many better things to do.

But I suppose I waste enough hours perusing LJ...
