I was just looking back at my journal over the last week or so and I noticed that all of my posts for July have been friends only. I feel like I should make an open entry just in case a random user wants to take a look at my journal before adding me as a friend (Shut up! It's been known to happen

I hope you don't mind, I hope you don't mind... Yikes, didn't mean go into the lyrics of and Elton John song, guess that is what jet lag does to a person. Anyway, I digress, as per usual, umm.. yeah, to the point, Hi! *cheeky grin*

I have seen you in fighting_in_sf's journal and read your bio and I really, really like what you have to say, how you say it and the strength of who you are. I would very much like to get to know you and have some dicsussions on various things. I find there are too many fence sitters, I like people that are willing to debate/share their beliefs, who have passion about life and their convictions.

My journal of late has been a bit wet, and I have been a bit absent due to travelling, but shall be back on a daily basis in the next few days. Hope to get to know you a bit better but fully respect and understand if you decide you aren't interested - I am not everyone's cup of tea.

I thought it more polite to say hello first, especially since you keep most of your stuff behind 'friends only' posts. I am interested in getting to know you, and obviously I cannot do that very well from the outside, so to speak, another reason I had not friended you yet.

Also, most of my journal is public, even the personal stuff, there is a 'confession filter' which has mostly sexual stuff, I keep it separate only for those friends whose family read their journals, it is a respect thing vs. a shy or embarassed thing. And I have an 'inner sanctum' filter which I rarely use, but only has about 6 people on it. So, you can get a good flavour for me without being on my friends list, but I will add you so that you may see the few friends only bits, shouldn't really make that much differene to whether you are or are not interested. :O)
