Last night I had a dream in which google was attaching cameras and GPSs to dogs and cats, and then incorporating the images into google maps street view.

 Yesterday there was a fly in our house. Inara and Kaia were interested in watching it for a while, but eventually I no longer wanted it to be there. So I caught it out of the air with my hands. At first I though "damn, that was pretty awesome, I just caught a fly out of the air." Then I thought, "eww, now I have fly on my hands."

I noticed today that we live <400 yards from the midpoint between apple hq and google hq, and almost exactly equidistant from google hq and yahoo hq. For whatever that's worth.

 I made the mistake of walking into the kitchen here with my iPod Touch out... I was suddenly mobbed by people asking if I had somehow already gotten the 3g iPhone.

I don't understand this whole hdtv thing...
When I went away to college nine years ago, I got a new computer. It was a not-ridiculously-fancy-for-the-time 500Mhz Pentium 3, with a standard CRT monitor.
Which did 1600x1200.
Am I missing something here? Is it just that people expect TVs to be cheaper/bigger than monitors, or what?

At least 90% (probably more like 97%) of people should not be allowed to use computers with a general-purpose operating system (e.g. windows, os x, linux...)
