as i've told ya already, i'm glad we had the conversation we did the night that she died. i wouldn't know for another 10 hours that she had gone, but you and i had talked about her, horses, and other crazy mom-ness in that AIM session.
true, we don't know each other that well, but you're a benchmark in this time period. that and from all i've encoutered, you n' nick seem to be pretty swell. thanks for the words you posted.
you were the first person i thought to call when i heard. the sudden loss of a parent isn't what i'd like to have in common... but i knew that you'd be there. i don't feel like i'm taking advantage either; i know that you'd be around for (im)moral support. and when you showed at the memorial, it damn near made me break again.
love ya Dawn. we've become very good friends in a very short period. i owe ya heaps.
at some point, i'll get to Athens, and we'll have a get-together that doesn't involve larp. you and the Chad are awesome. just keep yer chin up and finish school... thats what i needs from ya.
heheh... somehow i feel i should apologize for 'outing' you at the memorial. then again, the hoopers were in the same section; so don't feel singled out. yer a good friend larry. this wednesday, i'm back to bowling.

I know we dont know eachother that well. But if you need to talk, just to get away from things I am around.
My best thoughts are going out to you and your family.
