So, I was over at my friends house and I was talking to his dad about religion, not by my choice because I prefer to stay on peoples good side, and he told me that the only reason I would be whatever religion I am because of my father. Now, I have NEVER talked to my dad about religion before in my life. In all honesty we've just never brought it up

thats an interesting comparision....its definitely not crazy to think they exist (the universe being a pretty big place, the odds of life starting being high enough that it would happen elsewhere, etc)
its slightly crazy to think theyve made it here though.

As far as I know, its never been proven or disproven that aliens exist. And as for your friend's dad, I don't really see it as a religious matter. The Bible doesn't mention aliens or condemn anyone for believing in them. People probably didn't even have the concept of aliens in those days. For me, I believe its possible that they exist, but I have never had an experience that would swing me either way. Intersting, though...
