Ah, but magic and er, technology are rather different forms of the arcane.

It shouldn't be too difficult to mix them together.

Those divisions. Who cares for them? ♥

...What are all those little punctuation marks for?

I only know one dance, and unfortunately it's somewhat out of fashion, recently. So perhaps I ought to learn some others. Making friends is much simpler, though, you're correct! I'm A.Z. Phale, I don't believe we've met?

They're dancing~ Do you see it?

I think you can learn, though, if you try your best.

Phale-san! I'm Mari~ I just arrived in the City yesterday. It's very nice to meet you.

Dancing..? Oh, I see, how curious!

I learned the Gavotte, and I think I do it rather well, so I could probably manage another. I think.

The pleasure is mine, miss Mari. Welcome to the City!

What sort of bookshop are you opening?

mr_phale January 1 2009, 00:24:15 UTC
Used and rare; I ran one in Soho, before I arrived here. Not that the Library doesn't have an admirable selection, but sometimes one wants to own the books, you know?

I do know. Exactly that, actually. I'll be looking forward to the shop opening soon, then. If you need help setting it up, please let me know. I even have a few books I could contribute.

Ah? Well, thank you very much, I shall certainly keep you informed.

I don't believe we've met before? I'm A.Z. Phale.

... I think sparkles and blinking might take a bit if you're still working on dances from the twentieth century.

I think you might be right.

Then again I haven't really tried to learn any other dances.

Well, it's not like dancing's really important. ... How old are you, anyway?

mr_phale January 1 2009, 01:20:54 UTC
Old enough to be, regrettably, somewhat behind the times.
