The last time I saw it rain this much outside of a tropical ecosystem, they were panicking and building an ark. Unpleasant doesn't begin to describe this weather. I hate it when my hair gets all wet and drippy and loses all its spring.

I love a good allusion.

The population here is still at least sixty-per-cent human, probably some eighty-per-cent might as well be human. If they need a boat, I'm sure they'll build one out of something. That's what they do.

Not all of them will. I seem to remember that being the point of the story.

Er... No, not exactly-- feeling nostalgic makes me feel less dreary.

Ah... I was, er, lucky enough not to be affected by that one. I hope it wasn't too unpleasant for you.

Well, then, that's a blessing.

Really, it's not nearly that bad yet, but... one never knows, hmm? I don't expect it. Er-- not... precisely their style, you know.
