big power outage here... now it's freezing and the power won't be on in town until at least wednesday...

on a positive note, my friend has a nice place out of town where he invited me to sta for the evening.

my paycheck still hasn't gotten here, it's a week overdue and i've had nothing but raw eggs and handouts to eat all week.
i wish this depression would kick out already

i figured it out: girls don't normally go out with idiots (i know, ha-ha-very-funny they do, too). most of my friends are drunks, who couldn't care less how idiotic i am because it's a game to them to see how idiotic they can be without dying in the process.
i think i'm better off with a computer as a companion, anyway. computers are great

halloween rules, i went to a costume party and i was the scariest one there. we were walking around town in our costumes and i stole beer from my mom's party, loaded up on candy (trick and treat), then i bumped into an ooooooooooold girlfriend (known her for twenty years now, she just graduated college), then i got kicked out of my mom's house ( Read more... )

there are many memorials all across the country to remind us of what happened on u.s.' soil.
i would suppose they do this kind of thing every day over there to remind themselves of who they would sacrifice themselves for.

that's all.

a number of times, recently, i've found myself counting on my hands to find out what year it is. that about sums up how i've been doing.
on a positive note: i've been doing a bit of writing in a composition notebook, and working on getting my strength back up to go do some real work.
