as i'm sitting in denial and depression due to the results of this past election, being that our country is now being run by even more republican bastards than we had before, i now begin to think about bush as our president the next 4 years ( Read more... )

First of all, there hasn't been any terrorist attacks since 9/11 3 years ago and that's because Bush is doing his job by killing all of them in Iraq. If Kerry were president we would all die because he would back out of it too early and America would be vulnerable again. He would also cut military funding making it IMPOSSIBLE for America to win the war on terror. Now would you rather have the war here amoungst innocent people of America or in Iraq where people in the military are more than happy to kill all of the phycotic towel heads ( ... )

I contest your second point. Global warming is a fact of life, yes it does occur naturally, but in the past decade it has increased rapidly due to human activity.

to start: "Bush is doing his job by killing all of them in Iraq" --this includes thousands of innocent civilians whose lives would not be changed through the fall of the Hussein regime ( ... )

wut i dont see is how republican and lazy are in the same sentence. republicans usually WORK for their own money, many of which start their own business'...doesnt sound like laziness to me. as opposed 2 more liberal pepople who charity off of the government and its democratic welfare 'benefits'. ironic.

just my opinion tho

your opinion is noted. though i strongly disagree.

see my next entry for the argument that would best rebutt this statement you've made.

in response, welfare does need a good reforming. there is too much abuse. people should be sent (ideally) to investigate all recipients homes from time to time to ensure proper allocation of the money. also one possible solution would be to sat have government run child care so that new children are not a permanent reason to get a check, and thus mothers are back in the workforce. im a liberal, but that and partial birth abortions irk me. if there is wellfare, it should be global and from each according to their need to ech according to their value. also, if a woman is able to all the way to crowning the fetus, then its time for adoption.
