That is how all progress is measured. It is not how you compare to your neighbor, it is how you compare to who you used to be...
It seems to me like you have grown a great deal, and if it still feels like you have a long way to go, well good. If you can see how far you need to go, then you can see which direction you want to travel...so you are not lost, just traveling.
