Another year, another dozen scars.

New Year Resolutions.
Pro:
I actually did a few things on my list last year.

Con:
I did not do everything I told myself I would do.

Stuff that I told myself I would do and did from last years list:
2. Double the amount of money I currently have saved in my "life savings" savings account.
- I did this, and then I went on a shopping spree.. and bought a house.

6. Look into the possibility of learning to drive
- It can not be legally done. I'm too blind, even when I'm not having a sight outage.

7. Get a Seattle phone number (land line). I have noticed that using only Walla Walla numbered cell phone can be an issue.
- Got a VoIP based land line for the house, prepaid for the next two years.

8. Frame and hang every single piece of art I have now that I have a list of what frames I need. Get a copy of VG's 'Starry Night' and frame it in a black frame, and a copy of that knight painting (The accolade) and hang it over the bed.
- Not exactly, but they are hanged up around the house.

9. Clean and sort every piece of clothing I have and make sure everything I end up keeping actually fits me and I want it. If not, donate it to a local animal friendly Thrift store.
- Not exactly, but moving and Renee's care has made sure I don't have much I cant use or fit into.

11. Hook up every gaming console I have (TI-HC, Atari 2600, Atari Flashback 2, NES, Super NES, N64, Dreamcast, PS2) so they don't just sit there and do nothing while taking up space.
- Done. Now I just need a bigger TV..

12. Rip to 320kps mp3 my entire physical music CD collection for compatibility with my Zune player and put it on the 300 gig raid1 array.
- Enough is ripped, I am happy and I have things to listen to. I guess that is what really counts.

13. Contact the DSB and see what they can do for me.
- I contacted them and they never responded back.

15. Send a yellow crayon to the world.
Tried this and I'm still shaking, spinning, confused.

Stuff to still do over the next year from last years list:
1. Learn to actually be able to play my guitar non free bird after 2 years of saying I will.
- I really need that tuner Cd so I can learn.. My book is useless without the companion CD, and I have no idea where it is. Arg.
3. Get the 'Angel' soundtrack CD to finish my collection.
- I could so do that right now. Must... Restrain ... Self.. Control..
4. Read more of the books already on my shelves instead of buying new ones.
- My commute gives me so much time to read, why not continue this?
5. Learn to speak and write fluent French.
- Por ma belle femme, et la mon beau chat.
10. Update my will and make sure My cat will be taken care of if something happens to me.
- Should have been more about my entire family..I have the documents by my desk so this should be easier now.
14. Figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life now that being a super hero is no longer an option.
- I have learned too much this past year about how money and the world really works to be happy with what and how I have what I have for the rest of my life. I want better.

Things to do over the next year that where not on my list before:
0. Get married. I have been putting it off out of fear for too long.
1. Buy a rental property, or something land based that will cash flow.
2. Re-fi my house now that the feds are dropping rates..
3. Save up about 3 months of living expenses, in liquid cash that is stored wherever it gets the most/safest return.
4. Start an LLC for business use and use the C corp how ever my accountant thinks best.
5. Get an accountant for personal and business finances.
6. Get a lawyer I can feel comfortable working with for business items, "is it legal to.." stuff.
7. Pay off the consumer debt my credit card created from buying presents for people.
8. Put the cat on a diet by feeding him only "light" cat food.
9. Learn the Python programming language to open up some possible opportunities.
10. Finish the mt4 indicator for FX trend collection, long or short.
11. Find a new job now that my contract is ending soon at my current place of employment. I hate being a contractor when the contract is up.
12. Replace 10 pounds of computer geek fat with 15 pounds of manly-man muscle.
13. Find some pictures to hang up around my office.
14. Paint my office walls dark green.

.. now I'm just searching. Oh well, that should be enough, and if not I can always add to it.

todo, resolutions, resolution
