I don't have TV service. I don't get a paper. My daily 8 hours or so of bus commute is spent napping and my day is spent working. On the weekends I hide from the sun downstairs and keep the fireplace burning, taking frequent naps to recharge from the above mentioned commuting.
I read Slashdot for news, and sometimes I read a forum owned by Canadian friends.
My knowledge of the world is always second hand from the people around me, and what they decide to bring up. I'm very out of touch with what most would consider the "common world".
So yes, I have been living in a cave. Thank you for the links.
