What's really odd is that I had to phone the Libraries Association the other day, from work, and the woman answered "Hello, suet." I replied, "er, sorry, is this the number for the Libraries Association?" and she said, "yes, that's right, it's just we've changed our name to suet."

Please can somebody explain this phenomenon to me.

by "the other day, from work" i assume you mean coming down from another one of your weekend benders?
