If only Roy & HG's The Dream was on TV in the UK, the Olympics would be a whole lot funnier. I wish someone would put it on.

It's my birthday tomorrow, and seeing as there is almost no-one in at work today, I won't have to buy cakes for everyone! Hurray! But that means I won't get cake either. Booo! Maybe I'll do it on Monday.

I was going to phone up your work when you'd left this morning, to tell them you're 30 tomorrow

but I didn't cause I'm still trying to think of a good pressie to get you...

I'm gonna look in wandsworth at lunch... maybe there's something there....

would you like a freezer bag?

Well even if you did phone up, there's no one here!
I would not like a freezer bag, no.

how will you keep things cool then?

i thought buying cakes for workmates was only a dutch thing. i've never heard of anyone in the UK bringing in cakes to work when it's their own birthday. i think those people are winding up the outsider australian to try get free food.

the cakes for workmates one is one I've almost always done in the few places I've worked - well in York we'd all go up to Bettys and get posh cakes, or cheap ones if you weren't as rich... and then down the pub at lunch

I don't do it here though. I just do the pub instead :)
