Yay for symposium! Oh, I miss Valpo. So you went to the convent again? I missed that last year. It was a really good experience. Guess what? I might make it to Valpo for Homecoming or some other time relatively soon (probably with Erica), so hopefully we can cook for you. I'm making a pound cake right now, actually. Well, I have my first class tomorrow. I think it will be good, but the campus is huge! There was a big activities fair thing and I could only make around about a quarter of it before I was overwhelmed and had to leave. Oh well. I should get used to it before too long. Oh, and I have a job interview on Monday, and I really really need an assistantship so I can get a tuition waiver and free insurance. Could you bring that up at morning prayer/compline/whatever you're doing this year?

Congrats to your g-parents! Sorry that I will miss you while you are back in this state. I hung out with your mom tonight for 2 hours tonight, so I guess I'm covered on the Butz factor, right? We did fun computer stuff together. Way to not keep up with the critical windows updates of the past THREE YEARS. Good Lud.

So you discovered how computer illiterate my mom is? Neither one of my parents have any concept of windows updates. They think updates cause viruses. Yep, way to protect themselves.
