Executor is separate from Power of Attorney...but it could be the same person.

Ask at ask.com or look at Nolopress.org...you may find the answer there. I assume you can check with the county courthouse...but don't know beyond that...at that is an assumption.

There has to be a lawyer involved if there's anything financial or any equitable property to change hands...

It can take over a year to actually recieve any type of inheritance that might have been left...

Is there anybody else you could ask in your family that might have more information, or be able to access that type of information?
