So, I have been taking these classes through Villanova to help me gain my certification in Human Resources (the cert. is called a PHR -- Professional of Human Resources). Basically I have to study a crap-load of HR-related information and pass a big test to gain my credentials. The study materials that support the class are a stack of six books (

I'm sure you could start your own certification agency, licensed by Wizards. This, combined with our previous idea, is really a heck of a way to fleece nerds of their money.

After thinking about it s'more, I believe Wizards would not be able to administer the certification based on "conflict of interest." Perhaps now is the time to take out that business loan.

you may be pleased and horrified to know that this already exists (although free). In order to order online modules from Wizards through the RPGA you have to take a test that declares you a Herlald level judge for the RPGA. Its basically a pretty simple test of D&D 3e rules (I didn't have the book with me and I finished it successfully in two tries).

Then you raise in level the more games you run in the RPGA.

OKay, so I am little embarrassed to admit I know this and my RPGA card says Herald Level GM... just a little though.
