I get the same type of ones for Ebay. They tell me that my account is in danger of being closed or something. So, I do the right thing instead of using their "link" I go directly in to Ebay and what do ya' know no problems with my account.

Yeah, funny that. Imagine my surprise when I got that e-mail from PayPal telling me that the original e-mail I had received was bogus!*

i get these often. not only from paypal but from ebay. my favorite thing to do?
go to the website or fill in the blanks in the email like so:
user name: nicetry
password: dumbass
credit card number: 4666 6666 6666 6666
issuing bank of card: youhavebeenreported
name as it appears on card: tothegov't and ebay/paypal.

i only hope it shakes them up a bit.

I've gotten several of these this year. Luckily, I'm savvy enough to recognize them for what they are, and I always send them to the ebay spoof department.
