I work in Chester, PA. For those of you who don't know Chester, it is an "under-developed" area just south of the PHL Airport. Recently, Chester has been going through a self-proclaimed Renaissance as many ( Read more... )

I'm glad that you can get a little degeneracy in with your lunch hour. That's really a gentleman's delight, right there. Did you use your traditional betting method?

And by the way - how the hell are you? I've been trying to get in touch with you, but have apparently lost your current email address and phone number.

Yes, I certainly did use my traditional betting method -- the horse with the prettiest eyes always wins.

I have been well, just not on LifeJournal for a long while (last post was in August of 2005?!?). I will send you a quick e-mail so that you have my contact information.

That so rocks... so much more civilized than my lunch hour, certainly...

Does the reenactment happen rain or shine?

Sure we can place bets on the battle -- I'll give you 30:1 odds on the Revolutionaries or a 150-casualty spread on the British. Your call.

IT'S ALIVE! ;)

That's fantastic. Do you like your job?

I guess this is only really an issue if your lunch hours keep getting longer and longer and before you know it "honey I'm heading to work" becomes an afternoon at the track. it's a slippery slope ... LOL

Yes, I am still with the living.

The job is good, but perhaps if I do slide into the habit of taking an 8-hour lunch break, things could change for the better. In which case, it isn't called "work" if it is fun.
