As I watch the news I find myself wondering what we used to talk about before the recession.

House prices. I still think the recession makes a nice change.

It was all about greed back then and how our houses would continue to grow in value and our salaries were growing exponentially.

Now it's all about fear and how the price of property is dropping and we're losing our jobs.

Greed or fear, the defining characteristics of the free market :)
