I begin principle photography on a documentary today. I was hired by a production company to write, direct and edit a film on a spiritual teacher named Sri Bhagawan Pranananda. I got the gig through a friend of mine who is helping produce the film and is one of Pranananda's disciples. It is shaping up to be be a rather well-run production, and

I've been meaning to say this to all of your other awesome life posts, but I keep forgetting. And the following isn't meant to sound patronizing in the least.

I'm really proud of you, man. You've been looking at what you want, and not settling until you get it. You're a yoga instructor. You live at a temple. You're going to India. It's just amazing. I can just imagine the huge, shit-eating grin on your face whenever you sit back and realize everything you've accomplished. And, if there isn't a grin there, there fucking should be.
