i don't think there is any way to look at this but one... and i suppose it's just not what i was expecting.

aaron, if you honestly think that life is not worth living, then there is not one thing i could say to change that.

"I wish I didn't care as much. I wish I were unaware of the emotions that a person can feel." i don't believe you. you know as well as i do that there is a point to life. was yesterday not worth living? the emotions that i felt reminded me of what life could be.

i'm at a loss. i am truly very sorry for my inability to respond to this. i can't stay away from you any longer, just to try and piece something together to prove to you that you're life is worthwhile with only words. this is what emotions are for.

I could write something long...but instead I'll adopt your java metaphor.

while(society){
cog.spin();
if(!(cog.hasLove()))
break;
else
cog.hasMeaning = true;
}

The metaphor could be better, but AP doesn't teach far enough. The point is that other people make life worth living, at least to me. And the comment above mine is from somebody who makes it quite worth living indeed.

I know we're not the closest of friends, but I do care about you, and if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

i like that you went from sections to chapters.

---

all i can say is this:

i don't see much point to living either, except the effect i have on those around me. i try not to be sad, because i don't want to bring others down. that's hard sometimes, however.

*shrug*

my parents gave me life, and i live it...
i don't know what my point is.
ha

i honestly don't care if i die or not. it's going to happen. personally, i'd rather not grow old but that's mainly because i can't picture myself getting old.
but as long as i'm alive, i'm going to do as much as i can. keep myself busy, enjoy myself, enjoy my friends.
i'm living to make art, and when i die.. i'll see it as a break.

i.don't.know.

Have you ever considered that maybe your life, and all our lives, are about making a difference in other peoples' lives? Your life isn't just for you. It's for those around you, too. Life is not just about working to make money to eat and buy clothes so you can work to make money to eat and buy more clothes. Your life could change someone else's life, or even their eternity. You DO have the potential to affect the course of history. You are not a fly!
