i feel achieved
last week i volunteered at a soup kitchen. i cut my finger cooking tho :|
and i went to the AIDS benefit @ OCC again. it raised 11,000$!

the here and now
things have been getting better. i've lost much of the emotion i was feeling over the past couple weeks. i'm still having moments of reality, loosing-my-stomach, hitting me. i'm able to smile confidently once again. this weekend was great. i owe most of my strength to my beautiful friends. i appreciate all those willing to listen and offer advice, ( Read more... ) -

summer
so, this is california, and i should be surfing. but... i've manage to surround myself with some pretty good (newish and oldish mix) of friends that keep me out of the ocean. i mean, i'm YEARNING to surf! but at least i've made it to the beach quite a few times to ride bikes, watch the fireworks (the 4th) and just play in the waves :). plus, i'm ( Read more... )
