From admittedly limited information, I'm guessing it might be your power supply (happened to me once), it might be simple to figure out what the problem is if you have spare parts and start swapping. Replacing one piece at a time until the computer boots to find the culprit. I know, easier said than done. Good luck trying to fix it.
Happened to me more than once... I don't have any spares here, but my cousin does and he should be coming over today to see if we can get it sorted out.
I'm hoping there aren't any further damages. Or, rather, I'm hoping it's not the power supply, because I rather like this one... and I think it's more expensive than, say, a run-of-the-mill motherboard.
