Someone commented in my Mraz downloads post that they were looking for these old mini-documentaries. They used to be posted on the Mraz Youtube channel, but were taken down when Youtube and the record labels had their little spat a few years back. I was looking at the newest documentary snippet on youtube and it occurred to me that it would be really awesome if Jason's DVD's were subtitled/captioned. I can read lyrics and get the full effect with volume for the songs. However, I miss out on what seems to be intelligent discussion and a wicked sense of humor when he speaks to the camera or audience.
I came here because I am pretty shy and I feel comfortable talking to you. You know, folks think you are a little touched in the head when you are almost 54 years old and want to talk about Jason Mraz. Haha.
Why bring it up here?
All this stuff I watched long ago and and I couldn't understand half of it. I was disappointed but that is life. I must point out at least with me it is not always a matter of increasing volume to understand what is being spoken.
Ok! I tend to ramble.
To wrap it up... captions/subtitles rule!

Just getting a chance to reply to this now, didn't want you to think I was ignoring you :)

I think it's great that Youtube's CC engine does such a good job now. It's not perfect, but it's a nice option to have. I'm not sure what goes into putting subtitles on the DVDs and such. It's probably not a high priority being that they're music-centric, but so much of the great stuff on the DVDs is the stuff when he's not singing.

And there's nothing wrong with being a hardcore Mraz fan at any age :)
