Sunburnt and Loving it

So, we are now down to southern New Zealand, right in Wellington. Yesterday we went to Lake Taupo, and it was like 75 degrees and just as clear as can be. I was only out for like 15 minutes before I got sunburnt. And now I am so red and hurting, my face hurts, the top of my feet hurt, and my arms hurt. But I can't complain, I would rather have

WOW, Mason! Your trip sounds so fantastic. I wish I could be there.

P.S. I would also take a sunburn over frostbite any day. People were meant to live in warm climates, not the frozen tundra that is Michigan.
