Are left-handed people smarter?

Yep. According to researcher Alan Searleman, southpaws have higher IQs, solve problems better and enjoy more extensive vocabularies than righties. Sometimes I think having a worse memory would serve me well in social situations.

I also wonder whether my son is actually ambidextrous or just experimenting. Did it say anything about both-handed people?

i was very disappointed the little article was so short as well. I for one was ambidextrous as a child and eventually settled into leftiness for drawing and painting. However for many activities such as sports I seem to have picked up with different hands arbitrarily. I will look and see if there is a more in depth article.
