It's funny - I've been watching it on ABC2 and still find it amusing, but agree with you, it really wasn't THAT good.

Especially when compared with say.... Black Adder

We just got it on DVD

It was a really confusing. There were so many commentaries, opening episodes before reshoots, unseen storyboard script extracts (wtf?), and lost episodes that it took five million light years to find the actual first episode

I lurv it. It's way better than Star Wars

No, it's really not. It's a show that was incredibly likeable and had a really high geek quotient that distracted people from the fact that it didn't have all that many really good jokes.

Also, it kind of ripped off Douglas Adams.

Not that I don't LIKE it.

And let's face it, Naylor wasn't THAT great at writing (although waaaaaay better than me, cos he's published and all....)
