It seems like most people knew what they wanted to play a long time ago, but it took me months to get behind a concept. Now that I have done so, I'm looking for character ties of varying types

It actually took me a very long time to come up with something that I wanted to play. It's just that I started thinking about it very early.

I like your concept. I actually have written into my backstory how I owe some Carthians favors for helping me get a new identity every 20 years or so, with drivers licenses and passports and all. I'm probably a little too far away geographically for a useful personal tie, unless you're planning on having a very widespread zone of forging.
