Oh. Dear. God.

I am sitting here, watching the first episode of the US version of Coupling, it's almost word for word but just not in any way shape or form a good thing, it's like a strange Bizzaro world, it's the same script but it's not funny, it's really not funny. I just don't get it.

Nope, I still can't get my mind around it.

Weird.

Matty.

Yeah... I taped it! Should make an interesting curio. And evidence in a court action to ban Americans from EVER doing their own version of someone else's work again.

It's amazing to see how such a terrific script can be totally gutted by actors with no idea. I blame the casting director.

And there's still two more episodes to go!

At least Stripperella is kind of enjoyable.

Last night. Double episode before the Up Late Gameshow, hosted by Hot Dogs. Relax Rocko... it's much worse than you think.

Willy Wonka? You mean the 70s movie

(prepares rapid fire bitching in case someone ELSE has got it wrong about the title of Tim Burton's adaptation of Roald Dahl's famous book CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY)

(Also prepares a "Movie Distributors Suck, Australian Release of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory not until September, Movie Piracy is Bad" bitching)

American version of the office. Debuted with enormous advertising push on Ten on wednesday with double episode, followed by another episode the next day. Then suddenly DISAPPEARED.

What, English people say pants. It just often means underwear instead of trousers.
