Nothing wrong with not eating meat and disagreeing with the way companies do business. But how can anyone have any respect for PETA, there actions are rediculous.
I get the touche here...mrbonvivantFebruary 13 2006, 06:19:59 UTC
I agree on some levels, but I agree in full with the case against KFC. Go to the website and watch the video; it is heartbreaking and downright cruel. KFC's way of "doing business" is none other than torture which is wrong and illegal. I wouldn't call that a disagrement, I would call it a legality, not to mention ethics, issue. Animal cruelty is absolutely intolerable.
Perhaps some of their allegations are simply that, allegations, which in fact could be subjective, but the video, facts and testomonials against KFC is purely objective and non-circumstantial.
I think that being a vegan is great, but I like meat and I doubt I could go vegan. I am not a vegetarian by any means; I do like meat, but I am on their side in several cases.
Respect is a strong word for the situation. What exactly are you referring to?
