That IS correct pronoun usage, lady!

IS IS A TO BE VERB AND THUS REQUIRES A SUBJECTIVE PRONOUN FOR ITS PREDICATE OBJECT.

We did well! Seattle passed a few neat transit and energy initiatives, and a district that's been Republican since it's been a district is still undecided -- probably going to the incumbent, but by a very slim margin.
Oh, and the referendum to make lap dancers stay four feet away from their clients was voted down. 'Cause when the strippers can't touch you, the terrorists win.

We have that stripper thing here in Texas. In my experience, it is totally ignored.

I'm in Canada, so I'm making out pretty damn well.

But I stayed up late reading about results as they came in, and I heard about Kansas -- that's awesome. California did, eh, pretty well. The only race that got my blood pumping was won by the person I was rooting for (Debra Bowen). I was shocked that we managed to get rid of an awful East Bay congressman (Dick Pombo -- the name alone smells like asshole). I helped with the campaign to get him out, and our fortunes never seemed very bright.

We re-elected Arnold, which is sucky but survivable, and passed a bad sex offender law, but other than that I'm very happy.

Very well. Delaware's such a darling place. Tom Carper was reelected easily, & no one else really matters up there.
