Also, I have been wringing my hands as well. But we're not out yet. There is definitely still (buzzword!) hope. And that's something I haven't had for the American political system in a loooong time.

You're right. There's hope. It's just nerve-wracking to consider how this could all be dashed. As important as this is, well, I'm trying not to think about the next four years.
