I am also half Filipino and I refuse to try balut. My mom dared me to eat it and told me she will give me 5 dollars if I did... Yuck and never.

Balut was my first thought seeing this question too. I don't I could ever eat it either. I'm not very picky and would try just about everything, but still don't think I could do it.
