Me Me Me

No one has done it lately, but I was always perplexed by people who complained when my blogs/tweets/updates were too long or too frequent. When they buy newspapers at a newsstand do they try to pay only for the sports and arts sections? Do they call television stations and ask them to eliminate all the shows they don't watch?

YES. You'd be amazed, especially with the rationalizations that "my friends and I don't read that section/watch that show, so you need to get rid of it." Naturally, when you point out that the advertisers disagree, they seem to think that economics don't matter if five hipsters have an issue with a particular bit of content.

"Hipsters" are FAR from the only ones guilty of doing that.

I won't disagree in the slightest. I was just considering a very recent personal example. (My favorite example is the "three little old ladies rule", where MTV or Nickelodeon will remove programs if three or more little old ladies write in to complain.)

One thing that's always bugged me is that your posts use the letter 'E' too much. Lay off the fucking 'E' Dan.
