You were there...and you were there...

I had an actual entry for tonight, but I'm going to leave it at this:

My brain is out to get me.

For the past three nights I've been having the same recurring dream (I know that was a redundant statement; sue me):  A particular dilemma I'm having is solved, and things work out perfectly.  Everybody is happy, all roadblocks and doubt disappear.  Of ( Read more... )

This is perhaps the most Schef post I have ever seen. Your own subconscious is showing you the power of positive thinking, and giving you reassurance, and instead of listening to YOURSELF, the waking aspect of your mind that has been ruffled by the banality of this world and the fog that you can't seem to get through cancels it out.

Perhaps you should just listen to your subconscious. Take a few deep breaths and concentrate on the dream. A vivid dream is rare, and ones that recur are like Roc's teeth. Listen to yourself - your mind is trying to show you the path.

/cryptic semi-rant over.

Maybe you're right. The problem is, I'm having a hard time figuring out how exactly to achieve that result; there's really no hint in the dream as to how to do it. THAT's the part that frustrates me most of all.

What to you mean it's "the most Schef post"? am I that cynical? ;)

Make it a point to tell yourself that you are going to persue happiness. You're mind will shift resources to it. I've also got a psudo-spiritual, subconscious-affecting activity that might help you. It's not what you think, and doesn't involve dressing up or body fluids. If after reading that, you're no longer interested, that's fine ;-0

It sounds like you're seriously on the verge of either insanity or seriously working out everything. It might help to keep a notepad or something by the bed and just write down the dreams right when you wake up. If nothing else, you'll get some insight into what your brain is doing.

I don't think it's insanity, hehe. At least I hope not. While it might sound cool to throw my own feces and rant about how the llamas are coated in Satan's afterbirth, I have a hunch that that wouldn't be conducive to my career advancement.

Hahahahahahahha.

I've heard stories about where you work. . . Maybe that'd get you promoted.
