new years resolutions always seemed silly to me. not because resolving to better yourself is a silly idea, but because people wait until an arbitrarily chosen day to do it. nevertheless, this year's beginning happens to be timed well with my deciding on a few things i'd like to work on, so i guess i do have some resolutions this year. this time
