2. I definitely miss humidity sometimes. Boston seems more humid than upstate NY, which makes me happy.

1. Are they really?

I still can't tie a tie. I keep learning and then forgetting.

Yay. Humidity club!

They really are. I could teach you if you want. Maybe I will have the magic teaching ability.

#2, no way. i hate it. or well, what i know of it. i'm from where it's dry & hot (sacramento) & when it is hot here in pdx sometimes its SUPER HUMID TO ME. & by that i mean a river is right by me so it's a lot more humid here vs sacramento & i am so not used to it. plus, sometimes it makes my curls look like frizzzzzz.

i should be asleep. bad bad bad.

1 - I never knew they were clip on or fake. Are they really? That's really lame... I learned how to tie a tie when I was about 10. I made my dad teach me because I wanted to be able to do it.

2 - I can tell you that you got a WEIRD new england summer. Most summers here are in fact quite humid. I live 45 minutes SE of Smith and ususally I die. I personally dislike humidity. Although i took a trip to Colorado at the end of the school year and it was quite weird that there wasn't ANY humidity out there. I had to drink a lot of water. But yes...

No no. I know that New england is humid in the summer. I've spent many summers in new england because that is where my family is from. St. Louis is basically the most humid place ever though, so the difference can be notable. Colorado is the main place I die from no humidity.

I am from Richmond, Virginia. It is almost as humid here in Oberlin, Ohio lately, and I definitely find it unpleasant both places. So I can't say I've had an opportunity to miss it ever, but perhaps?

Mainly, though, i just wanted to say that I think it's funny that both of your questions are essentially rhetorical, even though you seem to like answers. :)

You should try colorado. Colorado will make you miss the humidity. I'm telling you.

I think I like more questions more than answers.

i miss humidity... well it rains all the time here... but it's always cold, and i miss hot, humid, sweaty misery/missouri. i guess i just miss st. louis in general (hence random live-journal reading). hang outs in september perhaps?

yar. hang outs should occur. also i think we have a spanish class together again.

i wanted to write you a letter but i hear the AK box is sketchy and i don't have a clear idea of when you leave and when you can get mail and stuff. so i think i will send to your smith box or something.
