I completely agree with the way you feel, however, I can see why your grandmother would be upset I guess. For some reason there is just something special about the actual day of Christmas (which is even why Christmas Eve was all right as well). Its funny how it works. Even I admit there seems to be something innately special about Christmas. I just feel somehow more unified with my family than I do any other day of the year. We could be doing the exact same activities that we do any other day (independently of one another) and I somehow still feel as if we are doing them together. Its almost sad, because what really is stopping us to do things together on any other day. Work? Laziness? I think it is entirely possible for your family to have spent today with your grandmother and made it just as special and family-oriented as it would have been yesterday. But some people just still sense some sort of magic about Christmas and won't have it any other way. I hope all this makes sense....Anyways, hope you had a great Christmas ( ... )

I don't know, but we did Christmas differently here this year, like not even going to church and stuff, and it was weird.

Maybe it's more of a "breaking with tradition" thing?
