maybe someone will have an extra ticket?? ask on your cu lj community?
that always sucks, it's happened to me before. you've seen 311 a bunch though, so think of the good times. but yeah, wow i'm sorry, totally could be my fault :(
No, it was definately not your fault. I wasted time doing a lot of things while I was up since 8am including downloading Postal Service onto my iPod just so I could listen to them on the way to the venue. Also, I underestimated the popularity of the Fox Theatre (this would have been my first time in that venue). I screwed up.
do you know if they were available for purchse online? or a pre-sale of some sort? i would have felt the same way as you did with a sold-out venue, sorry man.
like caity said, think of the good times, and yes, that Green Day show ranks right up there on my favorite shows list.
Well they had some pre-tix sales, but the tickets weren't available to the public. This morning was the first time tickets were available to the public and you could not buy them online or on phone. Only in person at the the ticket office.
wow, then this venue must be reeeeeeeeeeeally small, considering you think there were 20 people in front of you ordering 1, 3, or five tickets or so. I bet one of those fuckers wanted 311 tickets (the # amount, not the band) to show their 'devotion' to the band. cripes.
Oh my bad. I didn't mean to say something confusing. When I first got there, I'm guessing there werea few hundred people in front of me and the line was down to 20 people when it was announced to be sold out.
