An insight!

Good morning all.  Ijust through I'd share my Sunday morning with you all.  Now, next time you're walking across a floor and you are curious about the magnitude of deflection you are exrting on the floor, simply substitute the force indicated below with your calculated weight (your mass in kg * gravity (ie 9.8 m/s^2)), and there you have it. Enjoy!

Jeebus!

Now if you can post a diagram giving the exact force and angle to fling a bowls ball Id be eternally grateful - also, I shall thrash you at bowls.

But probably not.

I dont suck at ten pin bowling - does that hold any water?

Lawn bowls is a fine art, but can be broken down into simple vectors. With the aid of a friction meter, a spring, tape measure and a theodolite, I can write you an exact formula for each and every toss of the ball that will place the ball precisely where you want it. Putting the formula into practice is another issue entirely. Why do you think there are no nuclear physicists doing the pool competition rounds.

Red_faced Duck has suggested that Da Rox and I approach you for a picture (I don't have the right ttols to compress images). Can you help on this one?

The formula will have to take beer intake into account.

Sure, I dunno what you want though. Email me with a request and Ill do it.

Beer intake can also be taken into account, however, the accuracy of the formula is reduced as delta T (beer drinking time) increases.

Hmm, I do have a nerdy request for a posting pic. It's basically the formula for a circle (a lot like my arguments). It looks like this, but much more elegant with '^2' being a superscript '2'. The formula is (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 +(z-1)^2 = r^2 'with right pointing arrow here' Sigma (greek symbol uppercase, as in on my arm with an infinity sign above and a little lower case i = 1 underneath it. That might not make sense. If it's all a bit confusing ville_lady should be able to translate. A spaced out mix of that would be grand, but hey, if it's to tacky, I'll think of something else. I just want to be reminded of the assignments I should be doing instead of LJ. Ta greatly, GJH

I must admit that this is stimulating a response in my amygdala, found in the temporal lobe, part of the limbic system ... this implicating fear ... great fear... and I thought brain biology was hard!

Dear Miss P

I was departing valuable information to you and my LJ friends. Without geeks like me, who would design your house, the roads, the pubs, pouters .....ok I'll stop there. I just thought I'd share my dreadful start to Sunday with the rest of you.

I'm glad my Sunday morning got those brain juices flowing. Perhaps you will assimilate the information I deposited to your sensory register and be cognisent of the force (thanks cut_paste) when you walk into a room. Keep that study going.

After last night's stint, I am know ahead with assignment work (finished at 11:30). Be good!

...simply substitute the force...

There is no substitute for the Force!
Without the midi-chlorians, life could not exist, and we would have no knowledge of the Force

My brain is already a little pile of useless jelly, after FINALLY FINISHING an online assessment to flogg some insurance shite, took me all god damn day and I think the chair is stuck to my arse! Or perhaps it the other way round! So ..... I think I'll just sleep in it. So there is little to know chance I will do anything other than look in wonder and fear at your numbers!

Good on you Geoffy, I must say the auld LJ is pretty addictive. I kind of really reall like it now, though still have trouble working out what everyone is talking about half the time.

If you can work it out, you've lost the plot with the rest of us;-)

Keep at Rox, you'll get over that hump.
