This is my son's favorite Rush song. :) I'm trying hard to figure out how to safely bring them to the second leg of the tour so he can see it live.
I want to say this has also got to be up there in my rankings of Rush guitar solos; such a nice blend of broad melodic movements punctuated with moments that push out to the edges of the timbral range -- so well-crafted.
There's a ton i love in this tune, but it all wraps up into the fact that the tune is just (appropriately) a total ride. One goes from floating to thinking to rocking to writhing along with screaming solo phrases and fat tasty bass licks -- it's a trip.
