I Love the Soft Bulletin a lot (even more than Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots) but once those songs get in my head I can't get them out. ..... ...... two scientists are racing, for the future of manki- gah stop it Max! Did they ever release "Christmas on Mars"? I remember seeing the preview on Fight Test, but haven't heard anything about it since.

The Soft Bulletin is by far my favourite album. It's just... perfect. A perfect album. Fwah. And yes, the catchiness is a bit absurd. XD

Haven't heard ANYTHING about it, other than that they keep pushing it back, along with the alleged new album. Frustrating.

Fuck the music, that story creeps the shit out of me! Fuckin fuck. I'm still wondering whether it was suicide or domestic violence. Shit. I'm just playing out in my head the scenario of him attempting to shoot himself, waking up forgetting it, and later doing it for real. I don't care if that happened or not, but that scenario is fucking creepy.

According to the article, he was shot in the forehead. In most cases of suicide-by-gun people either a)stick it in their mouth b)put the barrel to their temple or c)under the chin. Any other position puts your arm at a funny awkward angle and isn't as effective (as proven by this man surviving). You also have to account for what type of caliber bullet you use. Since they don't say what type of bullet it was in the article I'm gonna assume it was a .22 handgun, which the guy must have kept around for self defense and his girlfriend ended up using. I'm basing this all off of many many many Cop movies and episodes of Law and Order. Oh and Rotten.com

I won't believe the TV shows, but rotten.com doesn't lie!

That's so crazy. That's still disturbing to wake up with a bullet wound not knowing your girlfriend did it.

Speaking of this stuff, why DOES no one in a movie ever shoot themselves in the forehead? It's always the "Finishing blow" the evil character does. I swear it's all a grand design of movie logic.

Well there was Bruce Willis in "Sin City"... but he was using a .357 Magnum it looked like.
