Would anyone be interested in joining a book club? We'd discuss the book via email. I think I'll reserve the right to select the first novel. After that we'd probably go through the group and have each member decide on the next novel. Tell me if you'd be interested and I'll keep you posted.

I might be hip to this. But would we always have to pick fiction? I'm not a big fiction fan, unless it's really fluffy--like humorous sci-fi.

I'm thinking about selecting a novel by Philip K Dick, a funny sci fi writer. After my selection, it's up to the rest of the members to decide. I'll let you know. Hope you join.

Well, count me in. I think I might have read stuff by him before, although my memory is a bit swiss cheesy, so I can't be sure.

Actually, it seems like I'm going to switch the novel to Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie. I haven't decided for sure yet, it may be Satanic Verses by Rusdhie but it's definately between those two.

If you're still game I'll need to know you're email address. Also, what's your name by the way? I'm going to list all the first names alphabetically and that's how we'll determine the order of who gets to select the next novel. And don't lie and say you're name is Ann because well that would be wrong! ;)

yeah definately I think that would be cool. I'm in the process of recruiting right now so once we have a group together we can ask each member to suggest a book and then we can work from there. =)
