I'm convinced that in a century's time we'll look back on this era of human-operated automobiles driven by random non-professionals with the same sort of bafflement and horror we reserve for the 18th century custom of short-sword duelling over points of honour.

Glad nobody was badly hurt, somewhat pissed-off that your workplace doesn't have decent public transport or provide taxis for staff who've been working weird hours.
