Obama moving forward

Jun 04, 2008 15:55

I'm very satisfied to see that my country has put forth its first black man as a presidential nominee, but more than that, the first candidate that has ever given me hope for the future and made me excited to see what he can do. I guess we'll have to see what happens in November ( Read more... )

Obama is a nobody. He is essentially a good speaker who is able to fool all of you naive people into believing his rhetoric. Look at his voting record. Hillary says more good things about McCain because he is the better choice. Even though he is a republican, he acts more like a democrat. Don't get me wrong, I am by no means a McCain supporter. In my opinion, this is another election in which we have no real clear choice. I will be voting for Bob Barr.

It's very easy to say that when you do the bare minimum of actual research, if you've done any. He has years of experience in law and public service. You don't know about it because he doesn't tout it around like an Excalibur of what makes him worthy of his position. Clinton and McCain both have histories of lies and corruption.

His "lack of experience" matters relatively little considering the presidency doesn't come down to one person. It comes down to the people the president chooses to work with him, it comes down to the collaborative effort that starts with the president. I trust Obama to surround himself with the best people to make this country a better place.

When Hillary first announced that she was running, I was kind of excited, thinking that it would be an opportunity for vengeance against the bush crime syndicate. But the more I read about her and the longer she ran, I started hating her more and more. It wasn't because of anything the media said either, it was the stupid stuff that came out of her own arrogant, entitled mouth and the stuff that she'd done in her past (e.g., being Nixon's mole on the Watergate committee ( ... )
