I think it's kind of funny that the banker's were fighting over offices just to then be fired. That's tough!

Sounds like things could be going well for the Mistress for two reasons...if she's not associated with the banking firm you guys belong to, she could be in a better position. If she's able to keep her book of business with her, then she could be a good person to be with.

The market sucks, but this is the time that the good folks pull clients away from the the bad ones.

I'm glad things are okay with you still. They laid off eight people at work last week. But honestly, several of them sorely deserved it, and we did hire another customer service gal and a sales rep, so at least the week wasn't ALL negative.
